Jackie Maclean | Official Bio
Jackie Maclean is the founder of Jackie Maclean International,
and The Power Within retreats. She is globally recognized as 'The Hypnosis Practitioner', and has served thousands of clients over the past 20 years.
Known for resolving 90% of her clients problems in just one to two sessions, she is an inspired thought leader and is sought after for her compassion and mission to see you live a joyful life, being your dynamic you, and living your greatest potential!
In 1998, Jackie entered the world of entrepreneurship, after immigrating from India with her two children. In her venture she set up a business support center, then a printing business for 11 years, as her second venture, until life came calling with quite the career detour, hypnotherapy.
Jackie has trained in multiple applications of hypnotherapy. She is
certified by the International Medical and Dental Hypnotherapy Association (IMDHA) and the National Guild of Hypnotists (NGH), and is cross-trained in several techniques including Milton Erickson, David Elman, Gil Boyne, John Kappas, Terrance Watts & Neuro Linguistic Programming.
A WOMAN OF VISION AND COMMUNITY
Jackie's success over the years has rewarded her with generous accolades and achievements. She has served as past president and member of the the Rotary Club, and earned her Distinguished Toastmasters accreditation. Twice she was honoured the Paul Harris Award, the highest award given by the Rotary Club International, for community service that enhances the lives of others.
Speaking of 'enhancing lives' as an active women in her community, Jackie launched an award-winning program, called, 'Homeless on Hastings' , which she operated for four years, through which volunteers donated, prepared, and distributed thousands of sandwiches to homeless people in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside, Canada’s poorest urban postal code. Jackie was written up in the Langley Times newspaper, with a front cover story, and recognized by the Mayor of Langley, with a letter of honour.
Throughout Jackie's career she has been an active member of a variety of women's community groups over the years and was honoured and nominated for the Women of Excellence award, in the categories of, 'Women of Vison', and 'Business Entrepreneur', and the 'Juanita Frattinger Memorial' award. She was also nominated for 'Business of the Year', by the Langley Chamber of Commerce.
Jackie balances her time between consulting with her clients from her virtual office in Vancouver, BC, spending quality
time with her family and grandchildren, and travelling the globe to facilitate her signature, The Power Within, retreats.

HOMELESS ON
HASTINGS
Jackie Maclean, Founder, Operator
One cold December, winter, in downtown Eastside, Vancouver, Jackie got together with 35 people to feed the homeless. While driving home, she was reminded of her childhood in India, where often she would go to bed hungry. In that moment she was inspired to take action.
Jackie founded an award-winning program "Homeless on Hastings' through which volunteers donated, prepared, and distributed thousands of sandwiches to homeless people in Vancouver’s downtown Eastside, Canada’s poorest urban postal code. Jackie was written up in Langley times, with a front cover story, and a letter, recognized by the Mayor of Langley. (read the mayors letter)
In 2019, Jackie passed on the leadership of ‘Homeless on Hastings’ to a heartfelt candidate. Jacket comments, "It’s very endearing to know that this program continues to provide food and other basics for Vancouver’s neediest residents".
